A new innovation for the Club. Let Bluebird Stagecoach take the strain and catch the 7.45am No. 201 up Royal Deeside getting off at the stop of your choice.
Various walking options, but a Presidents Party will ascend both Carn Liath and Culardoch with a walk out to the "Inver Hotel" which will be the meeting point if your route allows, or catch the appointed bus back to town and catch up with everyone's exploits.

Easter Meet - Glen Affric Hostel (Jim Bryce)
This remote Eco-Hostel offers an unforgettable experience, fourteen miles from civilisation and located in a beautiful Glen. This walkers paradise has as many 3000ft. mountains and beautiful crystal clear rivers. In spring time the large gnarled Scots Pine trees are in sharp contrast with the clear blue sky and snow capped summits. The hostel is about 3 hours walk from nearest road.  This hostel is made available to the SYHA by the National Trust for Scotland. To book contact  Jim Bryce .

Dundonnell is situated directly below An Teallach (2 Munros), and a short drive to the Fannaichs (9 Munros) and the Beinn Deargs (5 Munros). There is a vast range of nearby rock climbing from Diff to E6, not to mention the climbing wall/swimming pool in Ullapool for those occasional wet days. To book contact Marjory Ewan.

The Lagangarbh hut in Glencoe is situated North of Buachaille Etive Mor. Climbing of all grades, Munros, ridges and Corbetts. After the hut was refurbished in 1994 there were occasional comments that the hut was now too comfortable. To book contact Colin Brown.

Morvich - National Trust for Scotland Centre (Bill Morgan)
The centre is situated below Sgurr na Moraich, the last of the famous Five Sisters of Kintail, and Ben Attow (The Long Mountain).  These spectacular mountains rise steeply from the shores of Loch Duich, offering some of the best hill walking in Britain. The centre is 5 minutes from the A87 with Glenelg and the Isle of Skye within easy reach.
