Strathfinella Hill
27 February, 2014

Nineteen walkers and one dog set off, after a very wet night, into an improving weather forecast to ascend a fearsome Marylin.

After a muddy start, we found a nice track.

Far are we noo?

This must be the most overgrown trig point. Perhaps the OS have lost this one?

B55802 is its number. Look it up on the web.

View towards Cairn o' Mount.

Walkers enjoy a view at last after a lot of trees.

Sturdy Hill or whatever else lies west of Cairn o'Mount.

Howe o' the Mearns

Back into the trees but larch this time so we had some views.

We're not going up there are we?

And still the sun shone.

Drumtochty Castle flying the correct flag.

An idyllic pond with a solitary goose.

Back to the cars and off for tea and scones after some wrong turnings in Auchenblae.
